Pineapple Room
Oh. My. Goodness.

Brunch at the Pineapple Room was wonderful. Just wonderful.

We're never going back. ;-) It would be far too tempting to eat ten times my average meal amount and then feel disabled for hours afterwards. In other words, much like I did today.

Not too. It was simple and elegant, and the food was lovely but not high-end. It was just good, all of it. (Well, all of it that I could actually eat as a vegetarian, which amounted to French toast (I was a baaaad vegan today), two kinds of salad, pasta, potatoes, green beans, cheese, fruit, and three delicious varieties of cake. For those who eat meat, they also had eggs Benedict, some kind of tuna salad, bacon, sausage, chicken wings, and maybe a few other things I don't remember.

I'd even go so far as to call it a pretty good value for $16.50 per person, all things considered. And it's soooo tasty! :-)

I saw the Sargent, but it's not one of his better pieces. Karsten even said he would never have recognized it as a Sargent without the label. But hey, the place is still deadly cool. :-)

ikeep forgetting to come tell you that i talked to one of the buyers at The Great Escape, and she said that we take just about anything as far as country music is concerned. now if it's something we have a ton of you may only get .25 but they will buy just about anything.
